Privacy policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Breeze Soft LLC (“Breeze Soft”, “we”, “us”) collects through the website breeze-soft.com (the “Website”), why we collect it, how long we keep it and what rights you have. We process personal data in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection” and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Who is responsible for your data
The controller of the personal data collected through the Website is Breeze Soft LLC, Mykilsko-Slobidska St., Building 6-A, Office 1, Kyiv, Ukraine. For any question about this Privacy Policy or your personal data, use the contact details in section 10.

2. What data we collect
We only collect the data you give us yourself and a small amount of technical data that is needed to run and protect the Website.

  • Project and partnership enquiries (the “Let’s Discuss Your Project!” and “Contact Us” forms): name, phone number and its country, e-mail address, expected budget, your comment and any file you attach.
  • Job applications (the vacancy and CV forms): first and last name, e-mail address, phone number, the vacancy you are interested in, your message and your CV or other attached file.
  • Technical data: your IP address and basic request data, used to protect the forms against spam and abuse.
  • Usage data: pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type, collected through cookies and similar technologies by the analytics tool described in section 5, and only if you have accepted analytics cookies (section 7).

Please do not send us special categories of personal data (such as data about health, political opinions or religious beliefs). We do not need them and do not ask for them.

3. Why we use your data and on what legal basis

  • To answer your enquiry, prepare a project estimate or proposal and stay in contact about it: your consent, given by ticking the consent box in the form, and the steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.
  • To consider your application for a vacancy: your consent, given when you submit the application.
  • To keep the Website secure and to prevent spam and abuse of the forms: our legitimate interest in protecting the Website.
  • To understand how the Website is used and to improve it: your consent, given in the cookie banner. Until you accept, no analytics is loaded and nothing is measured, and you can withdraw your consent at any time — see section 7.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects for you, and we do not sell personal data.

4. How we handle form submissions
When you submit a form, its content and any attached file are stored in our protected cloud storage, and a notification with the content of the submission is delivered to the responsible Breeze Soft employees by e-mail and through our internal messenger channel. Access is limited to the employees who need it to respond to you.

5. Who receives your data
We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the Website, and only to the extent they need it:

  • Cloudflare, Inc.: Website hosting, storage of form submissions, e-mail delivery and protection of the forms against bots (Cloudflare Turnstile);
  • Telegram: delivery of notifications about new submissions to our internal team channel;
  • Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC (Google Analytics): Website usage statistics.

Some of these providers process data outside Ukraine and the European Economic Area. In such cases the transfer relies on the safeguards provided for by applicable law, such as standard contractual clauses. We may also disclose data when the law requires us to.

6. How long we keep your data
Form submissions and attached files are stored for up to one year and are then deleted, unless the enquiry has led to cooperation and we need the data to perform a contract or to meet a legal obligation. Job applications are kept for the same period, or longer if you have agreed that we may keep your CV for future vacancies. Analytics data is kept for the period set by the respective provider. You can ask us to delete your data earlier at any time.

7. Cookies and analytics
The Website needs no cookies of its own to work. Strictly necessary data — what the hosting and the anti-bot protection of the forms use to keep the Website secure — is processed without consent, because the Website cannot be served safely without it.

Everything else asks first. Google Analytics sets cookies to tell visitors apart and to collect statistics about the use of the Website, and it is loaded only with your consent. On your first visit a banner asks for it: until you accept, it is not loaded and no cookie is set, and if you decline the same stays true. Your choice is remembered in your browser, so it is remembered per browser and per device.

You can change it at any time: open the cookie banner again and choose “Necessary only” to withdraw your consent, which also deletes the analytics cookies already set. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings as well; the Website will keep working without them.

8. Your rights
You have the right to:

  • know whether we process your personal data and receive a copy of it;
  • have inaccurate data corrected and incomplete data completed;
  • have your data deleted or its processing restricted;
  • object to processing that is based on our legitimate interest;
  • withdraw your consent at any time, which does not affect processing that took place before the withdrawal;
  • receive the data you provided in a commonly used format and have it transferred to another controller;
  • lodge a complaint with the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights or, if you are in the European Union, with the data protection authority of your country.

To exercise any of these rights, write to us using the contact details in section 10. We reply within 30 days.

9. Security and changes to this Privacy Policy
We use technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss and unauthorised access: data is transmitted over an encrypted connection, access to submissions is restricted, and the forms are protected against automated abuse. We may update this Privacy Policy when the Website or the law changes. The current version is always available on this page.
